96 - Kent Millwrights

Dating back to the 12th Century, Millwrights have been perfecting their craft for many generations. From water powered wooden gears, to conveyor systems and giant electrical turbines, the Millwrights continue to advance in their craft. As a Union Millwright, classes and refresher courses are available to help keep on top of their knowledge and skills. This shows in their precision. Known as a "perfectionist" trade, Millwrights take pride in their work and always complete their jobs with confidence in its safety and function.
As Millwrights we take pride in what we do. Beginning as an apprentice, we work alongside Journeymen with many years of experience. Not only do we learn from each other, we connect on a Friends and Family level too. It is not just a job; it is a rewarding career with opportunities to travel and work all over the country creating relationships with people of all different backgrounds. Our constantly evolving trade keeps us on our toes when it comes to learning new skills and techniques. Millwrights have been around for centuries and will be around for many more helping to keep things moving forward. Local 96 Millwrights take pride in supporting their membership and communities in any way they can. From sponsoring sports teams to Political donations, they are always willing to help. With CUPP our goal is to create more opportunities for Millwrights to get out into our community and show everyone that we are here to help, and get more involved.
